The online or the virtual office concept allows people, from anywhere in the world to participate in our organization by developing their own network in the country they come from. It also makes the organization as a refelection of the global village cutting across different cultures and different people.
 
By working in their home, members are free to decide their own schedule and how much time they want to dedicate to the organization.
 
What do we expect from you as an intern or volunteer?
 
We want you to work with responsibility and commitment, and to contribute with new ideas and perspectives. You should be able to make new proposals related to ongoing projects or to develop your own project with a professional approach. We expect you to be fully engaged as true and dedicated member of the organization, to create your own network,and find some links for financial assistance for the organization and for yourself.

Commitment and trust is required should one become part of the team.We do not see each other but rely heavily on each other for progress as such lack of commitment would make working difficult for the rest of the team.

Preparation before internship or volunteer work:
 
You should organize in and on time, research on the country we are working with Ghana, focusing your research on its politics, economy, social life and status. You should also keep yourself up to date about Thirdway and the ongoing projects it has.
In case you decide to venture to Ghana, extra preparation is needed before your journey. You must prepare your proposal. Your proposal can be about one of our ongoing projects or it can be a project of your own. Fundraising, campaigning and public relations depertments can help you in your endeavours.  You will also receive training from the organization.
 
Duration of internships and volunteer work:
 
We are offering internships and volunteer work the whole year round.It can either be in your country as online work, or it can include a journey to Ghana.Timing may differ depending on the requirements of the volunteer/intern in consultation with the organization. Internships or volunteer work can  be done while studying or working, dedicating just a few hours per week.
 
If you want to travel to Ghana, then you should apply at least 6 months prior to departure. This is necessary for fundraising and training requirements. Groups as well as individuals are welcome to participate in our projects in Ghana. [Read more about Project Volunteer Program]
